THE LEADER of parents' rights group Fathers 4 Justice has spoken of his regret at embarking on the controversial crusade, claiming he had no idea it would come with such a hefty emotional price tag.

Despite admitting the situation is getting out of hand, Matt O'Connor has vowed to finish what he started three years ago - but said he has been “vilified” by the public, and has even received personal death threats.

“If I knew then what I know now, I would not have started the group up, because the personal costs to me, both emotionally and financially, have been immense,” he said.

“Before I launched Fathers 4 Justice I had planned to buy a restaurant, and now there are times when I really wish I had done that instead.”

On Monday, television viewers saw the first of a two-part television documentary reporting behind the scenes of the campaign group.

Dad's Army: Inside Fathers 4 Justice - which is the result of a year-long undercover investigation -highlighted some of the extreme actions taken by desperate fathers trying to win justice in the family courts.

But Mr O'Connor, from Sudbury, said he feels he is being held responsible for the actions of a group of vigilante fathers, who are using the Fathers 4 Justice name to make dangerous threats on people and property.

“We exist to act as a positive force of change, but there are all manner of groups calling themselves Fathers 4 Justice, who have nothing to do with us whatsoever,” he said.

“My reasons for founding the campaign are still very much there, but we are now three years on and people are getting desperate.

“These fathers are on the edge, and there are extreme measures that a lot of them will go to.

“I have had three or four death threats in the past three months, which is of great concern to me, both in terms of my own safety and that of my family.

“The trouble is that it is very easy for people to call themselves a member of something, and I feel as though I am being held responsible for the behaviour of everyone. I have been vilified by the public - it is as though people are using voodoo dolls to stick pins in me.”

Fathers 4 Justice, which has become one of the most high profile campaigns of recent years, was launched after Mr O'Connor went though a divorce and wanted to maintain contact with his two children.

Since then his crusade has become increasingly recognised for its achievements in creating awareness of the problems surrounding fatherless families.

Over the years, Fathers 4 Justice has hit the headlines with attention-grabbing stunts by campaigners such as storming the Big Brother house, causing traffic chaos by protesting on the busy M4, throwing eggs at Tony Blair, scaling St Paul's Cathedral, and famously dressing as Batman and Robin to hold a roof-top demonstration in Downing Street.

But in recent months some supposed Fathers 4 Justice members have taken campaigning to the next level, and have reportedly even threatened to firebomb an office belonging to Cafcass - a national organisation that looks after the interests of children in family proceedings.

Mr O'Connor, who in January this year was shortlisted for the Royal Society's Great Briton of the Year Award, said: “We are trying to do something good, but people are losing sight of the fundamental issue of children growing up without their fathers.

“I understand fully the anger and bitterness that drives people to think of such extremes, but this is not the way forward for our movement.

“The group has strict terms of membership which are firmly enforced, and those people who are not members should carefully consider the damaging impact such actions could have.

“I cannot stop the campaign now, it has gone too far, but all I can do is try and manage it the best that I can, and get the issue pushed through and finish this once and for all.”

Sadly this is not true. It has never been true. Police are reluctant to arrest mothers and will often remove the father from the home. Judges are reluctant to send mothers to prison. Courts give mothers the children 97% of the time.

If you are a victim of domestic violence you need sufficient bodily damage to put the woman in prison. Then change the locks and move house. Hoenstly it is the only way to keep the children safe. Also get a good solicitor because when she gets out there is a good chance she will demand the children and get them. Sorry men, the courts hate you as much as the feminists do.

1. Portray feminism as being altruistic, and something that plays an important part in the democratic process. Then accentuate any injustice or hardships being endured by females, while ignoring any injustice or hardships being endured by males.

2. Highlight any advantages or successes of feminism, while hiding the many disadvantages and failures. State that feminism has given women more choice, while hiding the fact that so many women are now welfare dependant, and have very little choice.

3. Attempt to portray females positively, by portraying males negatively. This enables females to appear superior to males, without having to provide direct proof.

4. Accentuate or publicise any wrongdoing by a male, or attempt to portray this male as being representative of all males. Ignore any wrongdoings by a female, or state that it was caused by a male.

5. Portray women as being perpetually disadvantaged and victimised, as this helps prevent any unwanted criticism of women, and makes it easier for women to get more money. Ignore the fact that many women have now become highly dependant upon these sources of money.

6. Use highly biased studies and statistics to positively portray women. This normally involves “interviewing the cat and not the dog” type studies that result in biased conclusions, or it involves suppressing or ignoring any study that gives negative conclusions regards women.

7. Make continuous and repetitive use of the term “women and children”, but never the term “men and children”. This helps to create a belief that men cannot be proper parents, and men cannot be with children.

8. Blame males for as many problems as possible, as this transfers responsibility for those problems onto males, and hides the fact that females may be partly or fully responsible for those problems occurring. Transferring responsibility also relieves females from having to find workable solutions to those problems.

9. Exaggerate! Begin by saying that certain situations occur sometimes, and then increase this to often, then most of the time, then all the time (EG. “All Men are Liars”, “All Men are Rapists”, “All Men are Wife and Child Bashers” etc). Include boys as well (EG. “Boys are Stupid, Throw Rocks at Boys”, “Boys are Smelly” etc).

10. Proclaim the necessity for equal opportunity at work, while being highly selective on where women should work. This helps ensure that women undertake the more desirable types of work.

11. State that women are highly maternalistic and greatly concerned about children. Then ignore the fact that many women have become very materialistic and highly preoccupied with self. Ignore the fact that children are being increasingly raised by the state, in state funded child minding centres, schools etc.

12. Portray women as being the “family makers” and greatly concerned about family life. Ignore the fact that many families are now being broken up by women in an endeavour to find greater self-fulfilment outside of family life. Ignore the fact that any self-fulfilment outside of family life, is usually much less than what can be found within family life, and the breaking up of families normally affects the lives of many other people, particularly those of children.

13. Attribute social problems to patriarchy, while ignoring the fact that that most societies have developed from patriarchy. Ignore the fact that very little is known about matriarchal societies, as most have disintegrated so rapidly.

14. Teach feminism to the young, as this helps to perpetuate feminism. The young are more gullible and easier to indoctrinate, and by the time they are old enough to realise the deceptions, another generation would have been indoctrinated in the interim.

15. Dismiss or ignore any criticism of feminism, but if a reply to criticism does become necessary, then make liberal use of one-line put downs (EG. “Grow up”, “Get a life”, “You have to be kidding”, “Get real” etc), or include the term “domestic violence legislation” to try and silence any further criticism. Label any correspondence that is critical of feminism as being “hate mail”, so there is minimal obligation to reply.

16. State that women have a right to speak their minds, then oppose any male who speaks his mind regards feminism or the modern woman. Label this male as being sexist, chauvinistic, or belonging to a radical men’s group.

17. Oppose any stereotyping or vilification of the female gender, then attempt to stereotype and vilify the male gender as much as possible. If a male questions this hypocrisy, then state that any stereotyping or vilification was only a joke, and feminism is actually altruistic, and plays an important part in the democratic process.

UK Home office figures show that slightly more men then women are victims of domestic violence each year but do they advocate Mens Refuges?

Of course not.

They are nothing but puppets. These people would be more likely to sell me an on line mortgage quote, credit cards, suspect performance enhancing drugs and other things I would never be so stupid to buy than offer me any real help.

These people are part of the matriarchal problem in the west.

There is an increase in the alienated parent turning to the legal profession and the courts if all other methods have failed. They feel justice must surely prevail when an independent Judge is made aware of PAS. This is now common in the United States, but less so in the UK. Judges are naturally influenced by a number of traditions and are unaware in many cases, of the effects of PAS. These traditions are:

1. Mothers on the whole, are thought more suitable than fathers of having custody of the children.
2. The older children should have the final say about whom to be with. This does not, however, consider the programming which the alienated parent has carried out beforehand.
3. In the case of a younger child, many Judges again favour the mother as main custodian or sole custodian, all things being equal. If they favour the other parent they may well be viewed as unfair.
4. Sometimes Judges will recommend family therapy or some involvement of psychiatrists, paediatricians or clinical psychologists to assess and treat the conflict between opposing parents. These professionals also often fail to respond to the PAS which has eliminated or reduced the role being played by the alienated parent. They, too, may put too much emphasis on what children say they want, being unaware of PAS.

It is vital that decisions are made which are fair and just for all concerned. PAS cannot be allowed to prevent one capable but hostile parent from depriving another stable and capable parent of their parenting role. Any parent who practises PAS must ultimately be dealt with severely by the court. PAS is a kind of brainwashing which leads to suffering for all concerned, either in the short or long-term. Both parents must be viewed as having the right and the obligation to play a vital role on the care, guidance and love provided for their children.

The judiciary must realize that many potential litigious parents who have been the victims of adverse brainwashing of their children give up the fight. They do this for a variety of practical reasons including:

1. The feeling that they are doing more harm to their children than good by fighting over them.
2. Lack of financial resources.
3. The view that they simply do not think they can win against a determined, alienating former parent.
4. It takes much determination and is extremely time consuming, when one is already fully stretched in earning a living in order to provide for the children.

It is unfortunate that many children view the fact that a parent does not fight for them in the courts, as a rejection of them by that parent. It is time to redress the balance.

Unfortunately due to the fact that any voluntary payments I make will only count if my ex wife verifies them, which I am afraid I am unable to trust her to do, I cannot make any payment for the upkeep of my daughter. I have been putting the money aside each month but cannot do anything with it. The CSA will not accept the payments in advance as they have no will or ability to take the money and let me settle up any difference once they finally do the sum themselves. So I now have £700 which I would like my daughter to benefit from now but she can't. As many fathers will know, once my wife finally gets the money (which will probably total well over £1000 by the time they have worked it out) I can look forward to seeing her fly off on a nice holiday.

TWO men dressed as Batman and Robin scaled Liverpool's Queen Elizabeth II court complex today.

The members of campaign group Fathers 4 Justice were wanting to catch the attention of Prime Minister's wife Cherie Blair, due to appear as a barrister in the family court.

She was due to arrive at the courts through a rear entrance and not the main doors where the protest was held.

The men climbed to a third-floor balcony at the Derby Square building at about 5am and unfurled a banner.

Batman is Colin Vallis, 38, a father-of-three from Southport, and Robin is Dave Chesworth, 32, of Woolton, who also has three children.

The third-floor court rooms were closed causing delays as cases had to be moved. Police negotiators tried to talk the men down.

Fathers 4 Justice spokesman Rory Wilmer, 25, of New Brighton, said: 'There are family courts in the building and we want to highlight the problems many fathers face over access to their children.

'Colin and Dave have supplies of food and drink and hope to stay on the balcony for the whole day.'

Mr Vallis staged a similar demonstration in August this year on top of a crane used to build a family court on the corner of Tithebarn Street and Moorfields. He also scaled The Big One ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Why Men's Rights at all?

Once, long ago humanity may have lived in harmony but that changed the moment one early human looked at another and wanted what the other had and devised ways to get it.

Evil is the desire for rights and privileges without the responsibility, duty and answerability that goes with them. It is wanting to have the goods without paying for them. It is selfishness.

When any group seeks to use lies, deceptions or undue pressure to oppose another and you see this then you have seen evil. If you then do not act you condone the evil and contribute to it. We have all done this often without price but it is growing ever clearer that we must develop a sense of duty towards the culture in which we live.

First some evil was carried out by some men against some women. Women's Rights groups arose in answer to this and (rightly) demanded an end to the evil. Some how at some point a few less kindly persons have continued to push and wage a war where the evil is not the enemy but men are. This has result in that now some women are carrying out evil against men in general and some men in particular.

It is the duty of all humanity to call for an end to this pointless war. We have seen the need and so we raise our voices to address it.
